Message longer a 300ZX. Same would be said for an RB swap. I am no purist and I appreciate the ability and ingenuity of anyone who can successfully modify their car. But to me part of the appeal of the Z is the power potential available from a mere 3 liters compared to the American V8 approach of brute force over finesse.
I have often wondered what the engineers at GM (or Ford & Chrysler) might have done if they had been asked to design new technologically advanced power plants every 5 to 10 years instead of letting the accountants and marketing departments dictate the reuse of the old tried and true.

This discussion comes up frequently on another forum I frequent for my '64 Jag E-type. The Ford V8 is a popular transplant in the E-type. It makes a very reliable machine. But the end result loses the very essence of the Jag.

And so I think transplanting another engine into the Z may create a very potent combination but it will always lose some of the very character that defines it as a 300ZX.

Now occurs everywhere, simultaneously. But it doesn't have to be experienced the moment it happens.

Every now that ever was is still exactly when it was, when it was now.

Then, in terms of perception, is nothing more than all the nows that are no longer now.

Thus, the difference between now and then is when.
